Before becoming a herbalist, Vanessa gained a degree in English Literature & Language, then worked in PR & marketing in Liverpool for several years. She then went on to the 3 years intensive degree course at the University of Central Lancashire and the Preston Clinic of Herbal Medicine, where she gained a BSc (Hons) in Herbal Medicine. This is an exceptional degree course, taught by extraordinary people with vast experience in herbal medicine and how it can best be used to benefit people. Vanessa is a fully qualified member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH).

She feels she has found her niche in herbal medicine and aromatherapy, as she is doing something she truly enjoys, while helping to bring health and well-being to others.
